How to Register for a Sport
Athletes and parents must complete the online registration before trying out for a sport. Completion of this process does NOT guarantee the student athlete will be a member of the team. Coaches will make decisions on final rosters for each sport upon completion of tryouts. Failure to complete registration will result in the student/athlete not being able to participate in practice and or games.
A current sports physical (within 395 days) must be on file with the school nurse before an athlete will be allowed to tryout or practice.
Email an updated physical to: talisha.nyman@gcsd9.net (Our School Nurse) **Do not send a physical that is already on file.**
The participation athletic fee per sport must be paid once the student has made the final roster. Fees can be paid through the Skyward system or checks can be made payable to Granite City High School Athletics and must be paid directly to the Athletic Office.
Tips prior to submission:
**When creating an Arbiter Registration account, you only need one account for your whole family.
**If a current approved physical is on file no need to submit again. They are good for 13 months, so no need to re-submit for each sport. The current physical will be pulled during the approval process.
**Reminder: All fees will be Calculated by the Athletic office and added to the Students Skyward Account.
RETURNING ATHLETES: Please log into your existing account and register for the current program.
NEW ATHLETES: Please create an account and register for the current program. Only one account is needed for your entire family.
